History

Golf 1940 - Temporary Rules for Richmond Golf Club:
1. Players are asked to collect Bomb and Shrapnel splinters to avoid damage to the mowing machines
2. During gunfire or while bombs are falling, players may take shelter without penalty
3. Positions of known delayed-action bombs are marked at a reasonable, but not guaranteed safe distance.
4. A ball moved by enemy action may be replaced; if destroyed a replacement ball may not be dropped nearer the hole without penalty.
5. A player whose stroke is affected by the simultaneous explosion of a bomb may play another ball, penalty 1 stroke.
